photo opps

We have finally purchased a DSLR. We have set aside money for it so we could pay it in cash. But if there would be any budget constraints next month, we might opt for fast cash payday loans. Anyway, I am so excited to take pictures of my daughter in her flower girl gown on my sister’s wedding. I plan to take lots of pictures too on our company Christmas party but the party was cancelled. I think they are planning a charity activity instead. Not a bad idea, right?

I almost forgot, hubby and I will be attending another wedding (before my sister’s) this December. Most guests are our officemates so I plan to bring the DSLR too. So I have two photo opps next month. Plus of course, family get-together parties too. Oh, December would be my photo opp month!

my ideal gown

Today I decided I’d just have a gown made for me instead of buying from the mall. Actually I tried looking for one at the mall but unfortunately, the gown that I fell in love with does not fit me. It was in large size and they do not have it in small or medium sizes.

I explained to the couturier what design, color and fabric that I want. I asked him to do my “ideal” gown within my budget. I want something nice without any need for cash loans or the like. I think he understood the design that I want but the fabric that would suit that design does not come in the color that I want. Ideally, I’d like a grayish purple (almost silver) so it would match Mikee’s gown (in pink and plum combination) but won’t make me look like part of the entourage (plum and burnt orange). But I opted for the next best color, which is truffle, or is it? Who cares? All I care is that my gown compliments Mikee’s gown. :)

I don’t want to have my hopes up. Let’s just see.
