hoping for a great tan.

Is it possible to go to a beach for 4 days and not get a tan?

You see, when we booked this trip to the beach, I planned on getting the best tan ever. But when I found out our other family trip is scheduled 2 weeks after our trip to the beach, I have a change of heart. I don’t want to end up looking toasted in our (family trip) photobook.

So I guess I have to look for one of those modern outdoor seating with canopy… and hibernate? Hahaha. I’m torn between having the best summer trip and having the best out-of-country photos. I know I just need to choose one.

I’ve been wanting to just lounge and waste away time under the sun. Tsk.
Seriously, is it possible?

Every pregnancy, they say, is different. I just noticed that I’m having dry skin again just like my last pregnancy. Not so dry that I need an eczema treatment but dry enough that the husband once asked me “What did you put on your legs that they are so shiny?”

I laughed. My legs were shiny because my skin started to look like fish scales from dryness. :p

But I’m too stubborn to put on lotion or any moisturizing cream. I even don’t want to use any moisturizing soap. This is how I am when pregnant. I don’t like putting on anything on my face and on my body. It irritates me big time. No wonder, I look so ugly when pregnant.

stress and wrong diet

Does anybody at this age gets acne? I thought only teenagers have it? They say that women with acne could possibly be suffering from infertility or diabetes. Although stress and wrong diet could also be the culprit. So I wouldn’t be much surprised if I start having them. I sure hope not.

Call me late bloomer, but I think I’m starting to like putting on make-up!

You see, one of the many reasons that I’m no fan of makeup is that I can’t seem to find the right color of lipstick, blush or even foundation for my skin. So I just stick with lip and cheek tints, and have to go to parlors for formal events.

But after discovering that pink chocolate (from Clinique) suits my skin color, I’m a bit more enthusiastic about my face looking fully made up. Of course, I know it all starts with a clear skin which is why I’m always on the look out for best acne treatments.

I’m currently looking for the right foundation for my skin color. I’ll be attending a wedding this Saturday. I’m not sure if I want to go to the parlor, or experiment on my face. Nope, I’m not that daring.

Our auntie Dina came to visit. We agreed to meet her last Saturday for dinner after my appointment with a Plano cosmetic dentist. It was Mikee’s first time to meet her. Expectedly, Mikee was shy, a little on the edge of being a snub. But her eyes widen when she received a huge Tinker Bell craft set. Funny because I saw she was a bit overwhelmed by it, she didn’t know what she’ll do. All she knew she wanted to open it as soon as possible. Mommy was such a kill joy told her she had to wait till she gets home.

But she got doubly excited when she saw her auntie-la (short for auntie and lola) Dina gave her an Ariel doll.

You can’t blame her to be so excited. Wouldn’t you be if you just receive this?
