Speaking of gifts, the little girl received an early Christmas gift from daddy and mommy. We saw this on sale and thought it might go back to its original price soon so we had to buy it immediately. (From P1399, we got it for only P800) We told her though that this is her Christmas gift.

And today, I received this on my inbox.

I think I’m getting addicted to online shopping.

Speaking of which, Facebook has updated its interface which makes all my inquiries (comments) to online sellers visible to my husband via the new ticker. Argh! Boo FB!

Btw, I promise to blog here if ever I discover how to hide all my activities from my friends’ ticker.

The BER months have started. And naturally, people have started looking forward to the holidays. I especially look forward to our “shutdown” where we don’t work for 2 weeks to celebrate Christmas and the new year. This is the time where I get to mingle with friends and relatives without worrying about work-related stuff. It’s a rest period for my mind.

So as early as now, I’m on a hunt for nice holiday cards and gifts. But warning, like I blogged before, I suck at gift giving. So don’t expect much. :p

There were Benetton, Zara, Marks&Spencer and Nike items. That’s what I love about Europe. They have gorgeous items even for babies and kids!

Anyway, I had a chance to talk to Mike’s aunt who is working in Ireland. I asked if there are many IT jobs there thinking that perhaps we could consider working there, where purchasing power is high. She mentioned that demand is more on Licensed Nurse Jobs.

I still feel comfortable living here in Manila. I know we should consider other countries too if we want the best for our kids. So far, only Australia fits the bill.

Now how true this is, that I have yet to find out.

While I am having fun browsing for onesies for my son. And those undersized jerseys are just adorable! I just wonder if it would be awkward for my son to wear onesies until he’s one year old. Hmmm…

So friends, why not blog your wish list weeks before your birthday and Christmas?

I know, I know. It’s too early you might say but an aunt is going home from the US in September so I need to order the costumes by first week of August to make sure she can bring them with her.

I ended up buying about 5 tops and 1 romper for my girl. And I was a bit hesitant to buy size 12 on local brands (since I always bring my daughter with me when buying local brands, but know my daughter’s size on US online stores, the saleslady compared the size 6 of an imported brand) because I was thinking they were too big but was surprised that when I got home to try them on my daughter, they fit exactly, no allowance at all. So yes, I have to go back tomorrow to get the bigger size for all the tops.

But the romper was just right, she can use for a year, maybe. And it only costs P500! Amazing huh?
Note: I will insert a photo here. She’ll wear it next Sunday. I also saw a nice pair of shoes to match it that only costs P500 too, but I remember I have a discount coupon for that brand at home so I decided to just go back for it.

She suggested I can just take photo per month wearing a white plain onesie, and photoshop the number. Somebody also suggested to take a photo of my baby wearing funny shirts with different tag lines but beside the same plush toy, month after month. These are really nice ideas. I wonder what I will end up doing. Haha.
