really really?

Last Saturday, after canvassing for tv stands that we have been planning to buy to replace our 10-year-old tv stand (that husband initially owned as a single yuppie), I went to a famous parlor for make-up (I choose not to divulge the name of the parlor) for a wedding we are attending later that day.

I loved my makeup. The foundation was air-sprayed, the eye make up was great, and the lipstick chosen for me wasn’t red. It was pale pink perfect match to my gray dress. So I knew that the makeup artist will be getting a good tip from me. When I reached the counter, I was told how much I owe them. I counted the money in my wallet and it was the exact amount! So I asked them, knowing they accept Mastercard, if they also accept EPS (Express Payment System of BPI).

Me: Meron kayo EPS? (Do you have EPS?)
Receptionist: Wala po eh (No, we don’t)
Me: Pag binayad ko ‘to, di ko sila mabibigyan ng tip. (If I pay you cash, I won’t be able to give them their tip)
Receptionist: Ay, ma’am, meron po pala. (Oops, ma’am, yeah, we have EPS)

add some bling bling

I think I’ve come to a decision on what to wear to the wedding we are attending to this month. Haha. You see, I’ve been bugging my female friends to decide for me. I do not intend to buy something new and yet, I have limited choices.

Anyway, I decided to wear something simple. But I’d considering to pimp my accessories. One of those chic Marc Jacobs handbags, an elegant brooch and some more bling bling, I’d be good to go. Still, I haven’t found a nice formal pair of sandals/shoes to go with my dress. Boohoo.
